Situated just 15 minutes east of Gympie. Wolvi School is nestled in the peaceful community of Wolvi.
OUR SCHOOL
 Wolvi is a multi-age, child-centred learning environment. Our focus is to nurture the whole child in a differentiated setting and to help students achieve success. Parents and staff are entirely committed to providing the best learning and support for every child in a safe, caring learning environment for all. Our school is an integral part of a very supportive local community which contributes generously to the progress of our school.
Our distinctive learning environment recognises individual learning styles and offers a very high teacher to student ratio to provide for student differences. Staff know and understand every student and employ strategies to challenge and extend them in a caring atmosphere.
Wolvi offers high standards of literacy and numeracy through:
Personalised attention and individualised learning plans

Wolvi State School currently boasts an excellent ratio of computers per student. The purchase of seven new HP laptops and two new Apple Mac’s ensures that students access to technology is second to none. From Prep, exposure to technologies such as Interactive Whiteboards, digital microscope, digital cameras and access to programs such as Movie Maker ensures that there are numerous opportunities to scaffold individual students learning.

BEHAVIOUR
Our unique small school environment provides a distinct advantage to students ability to learn. Our students learn
to build and develop their interpersonal and communication skills in our small school. Our ‘family’ atmosphere provides a unique environment where older students nurture and actively care for younger students which adds to the family environment of the school. Our Behaviour Management Plan encourages and rewards positive behaviours which promotes students own self esteem.
