All state schools offer opportunities for parents to join a Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association. These associations are involved in a variety of school activities from policy to financial planning as well as tuckshops, fundraising activities, school functions and out-of-school-hours care.
The Department of Education and Training (DET) and the Queensland Council of Parents & Citizens Associations (QCPCA) Incorporated work together to support state school P&C groups. This partnership is governed by the EQ/QCPCA partnership protocols.
For further information on Parents and Citizens Associations visit the
QCPCA website.
P&C memberships are open to parents, teachers, students and interested citizens.
