Informal interviews with teachers
Teachers are always available to assist with, or discuss any problems that might arise concerning the welfare of your child.
Procedures to be followed:
Should a parent need to speak with a teacher during class time the Principal must be approached first to gain permission.
If the problem is minor, requiring a brief answer, teachers may be seen any time before or after school.
If a long conversation is needed an appointment should be made at a mutually convenient time with the classroom teacher.
If the problem is of a major nature, the Principal must be approached first. S/he will then organise the necessary action to be taken.
Parent interviews
Parent/teacher interviews are offered twice a year – term 1 and term 3. Parents/carers are encouraged to attend these interviews.
